Trocadero   was Reserve Champion at the Trakehner Stallion. Grading at Neumünster 1997. Winner of the dressage-test at the Stallion Performance Test at Warendorf. Multiple Winner and several times placed in Dressage competitions Kl. M. Made a record price at Medingen Sales 1999 (DM 300.000)

Breeding value FN 2002: dressage-index 130 points.

 

His sire Enrico Caruso was one of the best stallions in the Trakehner breed. He was Reserve Champion of the performance test for stallions, premium stallion of the first national Trakehner horse show for sires, and had a breeding value FN 2001 of 126 points. At his Grading at Neumünster, after his approval he was ignored at the auction because of his small size at 2 and 1/2 years old. He was bought for a bargain price by Otto Langels of Hamelschenburg ,who only later realized how small he was. He had an extremely gentle character & was very athletic. To everyone's surprise he grew to almost 16.3 hands & produced many good riding horses. His best & most famous son, Kostolany (out of Kapstadt by Falke, bred & owned by Otto Langels) has followed in his sire's footsteps by also siring many successful sportshorses & in excess of 9 approved sons, most of them Trakehners: his most famous son is the Champion Gribaldi (out of Gondola by Ibikus) who has had a great impact on the Dutch Warmblood Breed. He also qualified for the 2005 FEI Dressage World Cup in Las Vegas under Edward Gal. The most famous of Enrico’s daughters was Schwalbenlust, out of Elite Mare Schwalbenburg by Ibikus. Enrico was successful in dressage tests up to advanced level in the USA and also left 2 or more approved sons there. He produced numerous dressage horses and show jumpers up to S level .

 

His Dam E.S.Thirza has produced 16 foals.  She is a half sister to Thimur (by Enrico Caruso), competing in Dressage at Grand Prix. Her granddam Thila II is a full sister to the S-Dressage stallions Tempelritter and Tarim (both USA). She has many successful offspring including: SPS and PS Tavolara who was Reserve Champion at her grading and 3^rd in her performance test: Thalia who was Champion at the Central Mare Grading and Reserve Champion at her Performance Test: PS Teresita, also 3^rd in her performance test: PS Taormina, awarded Premium at the Central Mare Grading and now a Champion dressage horse: and PS Theresa, awarded Premium at the Central Mare Grading 2006.

 

Catriona is a very striking and well made filly, very feminine with excellent Trakehner type.  She shows powerful movement in all paces and is very athletic.  She should prove very valuable for both sport and breeding.
