The Fleetwater Stud a family business originated in 1973 with the purchase of the Elite Graded Mare Opushka and is well renowned for breeding high performance horses.
Based in the New Forest village of Minstead on the eastern edge of the Forest, Fleetwater Stud has been run at different times by sisters Jane Henderson and Louise King. Currently managing the stud, Jane has spent over 40 years breeding, training and caring for horses including the internationally acclaimed Fleetwater Opposition, UK Elite Stallion, who was team and individual gold medal winner at Junior European Event Championship 1983.
Now, on a smaller scale, Fleetwater Stud is still producing top quality young stock
